Brian Vertz
Brian C. Vertz is a Pittsburgh divorce lawyer and partner of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC, a matrimonial law firm dedicated to the practice of family law litigation and appeals. For more than 15 years, he has been representing executives, professionals, business owners, spouses, and families in transition. Mr. Vertz is listed in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. He was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and chosen by his peers as a Pennsylvania SuperLawyer for family law in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He earned his credentials as an Accredited Valuation Analyst, denoting proficiency in business valuation theory and practice, in 2006. Mr. Vertz has served on the governing bodies for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section and Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section. He was a founding member of the Pittsburgh matrimonial chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Brian Vertz is an author of Tax Consequences in Divorce (2005) and Drafting Marital Settlement Agreements for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, as well as an author and presenter for more than a decade of PBI’s Fundamentals of Family Law (1994 – 2006).
